What can you use the app for?

GetSatisfaction is a platform for customers and businesses to communicate with one another effectively. It considers itself "people powered customer satisfaction." As of 2012, there were over 63,000 companies who used GetSatisfaction as a way to get feedback from their customers. This helps companies to provide more of a social support experience, build better brand reputation and generate better product reviews, increase search engine optimization for their sites and improve customer satisfaction. GetSatisfaction is also a way for people to help others. Think of it as a support forum where either company representatives or other customers can offer solutions. GetSatisfaction is divided and kept organized through four main categories. These include dedicated places where customers can ask questions, share ideas, report a problem or give praise. The GetSatisfaction platform also unites all of the sporadic chatter about a product from across many of the social media sources and places them in a single place. GetSatisfaction is basically a dynamic, comprehensive knowledge base that has been developed by dedicated companies and knowledgeable customers together.
